Hey guys, Copper here calling a little hiatus until after the first of the month. Work is picking up after the long slow winter, and returning to twenty-seven - thirty hour work weeks after two and a half months of working fifteen hour weeks is wearing me out. Rather than stressing out over tags and staying up later than I should trying to get said tags done I am going to take a little break and recharge my batteries. I might get a tag or two done before my full return if inspiration hits but can make no promises.

This hiatus affects Eden, Echo, the whales and anything related to the Waves.

Not exactly a hiatus -- will still be online during work hours -- but my modem is dying a horrible protracted death and I may be offline more than usual for a bit. Hopefully the situation will resolve by the end of the week. I'll still be tagging during the day.

Wulf is off hiatus!

My current hiatus status is: Ram, Ko, Wulf, Eckert, and Allon active; Roy and Sati still on hiatus (Roy off-Grid, Sati NPCing).

Allon is now off hiatus, and will be tagging and opening new threads (particularly in the party post where I haven't tagged anyone in yet, orz). Won't be posting yet -- Ram gets my next post, I think. So my current status is:

Active: Allon, Eckert, Ram
Hiatus: Roy, Sati, Wulf

Two things to go along with this:

• Please remember to tag your posts! And to tag the posts you tag, if you take my meaning. :D Tags are useful.
• There will be a general state-of-the-rp post to take stock and plan for this year. It'll be up hopefully within the week. Watch this space.

Eckert is now off hiatus. My other characters (Ram, Roy, Sati, Allon, Wulf) are still hiatused for now. I hope to start bringing them back soon.

I unfortunately have to hiatus from active threading for a while. Yeah, you saw that coming. What's happening is a combination of work, rl, worrying, unexpected things, and an ever-growing heap of unfinished things, and between them all I'm finding it impossible to thread right now. I should have put this notice up months weeks ago, but was sort of trying to pretend it would all magically not be happening if I didn't say anything, and yyyyyeah, that didn't work. I'm really sorry for keeping you all hanging and not doing this upfront.

I'm also retiring four of my characters: Tesler, Naught, Ko, and Sentry. I love them all individually but ten characters is too many. Hopefully I'll still be able to hold onto the remaining six when I get back.

If you're stuck in a thread with one of my folks, we can decide what happens so your character can move forward with future plotting.

Hello, Kes speaking from a bundle of anxiety and nerves! Today is the day the first set of movers come to pack up the house. In two days we will be off to Seattle via three day drive.

While I love to imagine that I will have complete access to the internet in the various hotels and have enough brains to form tagwords, this is a pre-emptive notice of semi-hiatus, in case I drop off the grid - er, map, entirely. I'll probably gripe about it on my phone, if that happens, and fortunately Seattle has plenty of coffeeshops with wifi.

This notice affects Ram (ram_xr71), Kato and Britt (letsbebadguys), and Kip (lunarwatch).

So, as my vacation is now officially only three days away, I figured I should let everybody know I'm going on hiatus for this upcoming week, if you haven't already seen me spewing it all over Plurk, that is.

I'll be gone from the 11th through the 17th and I'm not sure what the internet situation will be like (nor my energy levels if there is internet to be had)

Don't burn the place down without me, okay?

I hate to do this, and especially without warning, but I've got to take a hiatus from the game for a while. The threads I'm in (I think just with Vint and Ardus currently?) will be finished, I won't leave those hanging, but I won't be tagging or making any new posts for a while.

Hopefully this is only temporary, and when I return it will likely be with a shortened cast list, but as of this moment I don't know.

So, uh... some of you may know me best by my absence these days.

Though I keep trying to catch up, it's a gradual and uneven endeavor, for various reasons starting with too-much-unfinished-stuff and up to/including real life. I'd have flunked out of a faster-moving game long ago, but g_l is gracious about these things.<3 Thank you, all, for your patience.

For those just coming in who may have been confused by my many characters' various slowtags, I'm speaking for: Ram, Ko, Wulf, Naught, Roy, Eckert, Allon, and Sentry. And they promise they'll get back to all their threads when and as I'm able to get the tags out.

Hey guys. It is once again time for one of Copper's infamous hiatus posts. As most of you know I was recently hired by a company after being unemployed for the past three years. It pays well, it has nice incentives and seems like a nice working environment. It also takes me almost an hour to get there one way which, when you add in that I will be working full 39 hour work weeks once I finish training, means that I will be away from home for twelve hours straight five days a week. Doesn't leave me with a lot of time to work on tags and such and even less time to post them since I have to go to the local library right now for internet access.

So, as of right now I am calling a hiatus. It shouldn't be more than two or three weeks - after that I should hopefully be able to afford getting the 'net turned back on at home. I may answer a few tags here or there when I can, but right now I need to be able to focus on learning my job so that I can rock it and impress the higher ups so that they will want to keep me past the end of my seasonal employment.

This hiatus will affect Drive, Eden, Echo and bbSam.

Hello again guys! Tis I, your beloved Copper, here to scale my indefinite hiatus to an indefinite slowatus since I can now access the internet from the gym located across the street from my house. It is not perfect but hey, at least I can be around a tad bit more often now until I can afford to have the 'net restored at home. Anywho, for those who do not remember this little lassie here, I am finally introducing Eden into the game. She is an adorable bb ISO who had the misfortune of emerging from the Sea the same time Clu poisoned it and died before ever reaching land. Thus, she is a complete blank slate now that she had been re-rezzed into the Free Grid, so expect any number of possibly life threatening shenanigans (ie: skipping up to a Rinzler or Clu to poke at them in curiosity, running across the street without looking both ways, etc.) until she learns her way around.

And, to those that I have not met yet, hi! I'm Copper, player of Drive (updateit), Echo (xaccessdenied), bbSam (dadpromised), Fox (digitaltrickster) and an as of yet unintroduced Castor (youjustdid) in addition to Eden. Nice to see so many new people around!

Becoming more epic, sad to say, at least during this week and part of next week. Work and other stuff leaves me little brain for tags rn. I will get to things, especially the sleepover meme and recent posts I hadn't started on yet because lol all the backtags, but can't say in what order.

As I am helping run a local mid-size anime convention this weekend (Naka-kon) and will be sleep-deprived and running around like a lunatic for the next 4 days or so, I'm going on hiatus right now. :) I shall hopefully be back Monday night if I haven't utterly collapsed by then. If not, probably expect me back Wednesday, since the 14th is THE NIGHT FROM HELL for restaurant workers.

I may try to sneak a backtag in here or there while I sit at my lovely contests registration desk, but I can't say that for sure! So see you all when I get back.
