This is Clu.exe a NetNavi who manage to avoid Bad End and comes from a universe that is one part Tron canon and one part Megaman Battle Network canon. This post pretty much breaks down the Megaman part of the verse, as well as outline Clu's world a bit.

So yeah, anyone want a Clu that doesn't want to take your system over and purge it of imperfections? He builds shiny things that go boom and likes to share them with security programs.

Hello everyone. I am Jayde, and after probably about a year of debating I am finally coming here with the lone program I play. It happens to be Anon! And he is AU'd a little, which I am discussing in the paragraph below.

It's actually pretty short and sweet as far as AUs go, really. After the end of Tron: Evolution, his Flynn managed to find his disc and restore him from a backup copy. He even managed to quickly code him a voice (which, due to the quickness, has an underlay of classic dial-up modem static in it), and Anon became a one-program guerilla resistance force. He attacked Clu's people and blew up stuff and was generally a menace that lived in the ruins of Bostrum and Arjia (gotta make sure the infection is completely cleared, after all!)

He's arriving from just before his capture and derezzing in 1999 and won't know what to think of all this business aside from 'Yay Parkour friends!' Even if he has a voice he doesn't use it very often, and he usually keeps his helmet up because he's self-conscious about looking like Flynn and Alan implausibly had a kid together.

The lovely Crystalshard conned tricked seduced convinced me to join this community and give the roleplay a go! My character is Ardus, a recompiler. He's fondly based on a certain other Dr Mcsassypants that some of you may be familiar with. He's currently disorientated, grumpy and in need of some people to show him around.

I cannot guarantee he will have all his manners in check, however.

I only have one icon at the moment, but time allowing I'll probably draw a bunch more. (Or a buttload, which is what happens when I find something new and shiny...)

This time I'm bringing in a pair of silly little programs who are Flynn's second attempt to build a perfect better system. Both are named CLU, though they do answer to the numbers on their coats. They are, in essence, Artificial Intelligences specifically designed for interaction with each other. While they can operate separately, their growth depends almost entirely on interaction with each other.

I'm using the personalities as developed by Gataro on Tumblr, as well as using her art for a majority of their icons. (Other art is done by Nocek and Ka-na-o.)

Howdy everyone! I'm Kris, and I'm bringing in (another) ex-administrator, because the Grid always needs more gold circuits and swagger. He's post-Legacy; on his Grid, Reintegration took out everything but the underlying firmware, and somehow he ended up in the Outlands sans Flynn. Needless to say, he's had some time to think.

I've been introduced to a fair few of you on Plurk, but if I haven't, hello! My plurk is flynnlives, and I'm looking forward to playing with you all!

This is NOV. NOV is not a standard blackguard. Some might argue that he is not a very good blackguard, either. To be frank, he's too friendly, too apologetic, too full of nerves for anyone to think he always was a blackguard, or even a military program. Get him in the right situation, however, and you'll find that this blackguard just as easily becomes a ruthless killing machine as any of his more emotionless brethren can be.

Watch him stutter around Users, accidentally scare ISOs, spook security programs and grossly confuse dictators bent on conquering the User world!

I come from the obscure character shipping corner of the Tron fandom in Tumblr. I go by the name of (what a surprise) ranoutofrun. Expo convinced me (abused me) into joining in this wonderful RP community, though I must say I am more nervous than I may have given the impression of (Ahhh some of you may have chatted to me on Plurk before). I can't say I really have any RP experience on me, though I love to try things out and learn as much as I can while having a good time (Hey I'm an Aussie, the stereotype came from somewhere) I have been skulking around and leering in on the rp, and the rest of the internet for like more than a year now, so I got my act together and wrestled my confidence to do this and be a part of something.

So, I plan to play a ... AU bad!Clu1 *prepares for objects being hurled in her direction* named Faux. My character profile can be found HERE. (it's long, sorry, but it tells all the stuff you need to know) In summary he is a Clu1 who survived the first movie, betrayal + game and was subsequently repurposed/rectified (not sure which one to use here) by his bro Clu2 (you're such a nice sibling aren't you) and used for general nastiness thereafter (in a loving way. No, seriously).

Faux is spyware, malicious spyware. He's still essentially a hacking program (though Flynn did update him a lot so he operates fine in the Grid, and subsequently turned blue) that skulks around and trolls people, finds secrets and hidden stashes, but can be nasty when least expected. Ah, I wasn't really sure what to coin him as, in truth; If anyone else has a better term than by all means let me know :) . His disk has been screwed with pretty thoroughly so he is a glorious piece of work there. The premise is that Flynn found him and had attempted to fix him up best he could with the small amount of time he had before disappearing, so he is slowly reverting back to being blue. (haha Expo, its like a reverse Jalen) After that, if he EVER gets that far (He has a tendency to piss people off, and the dangers of team orange making sure it doesn't), he has issues like more than 90% of the place. Oh by the way CLU and his Tron were totally together. Gotta put my favorite crack pairing somewhere :P

This is all based off my Clu1/Tron fic I will never complete *sob, 100K written already and not half way ,sob *. My fic contains the character as I am playing him now in a distant part of my fic I am yet to complete. (hopefully not never, the fic WILL be completed). Hope to meet you all and have fun together :)

Sometime in the future I may pick up a reprogrammed!Roy and a Virus!Flynn as well, after I get some experience.

Hey all, I am a nooby new noob, a generally insane artist known as pinkypirate or just Pinky over on Tumblr. I have not RPed in like... nearly a decade, so I will be trying my best to learn the ropes again!

I'll be bringing in an 82-style-Rinzler, he's from the old Encom system where Sark and the MCP managed some sort of AU shenanigans/reprogrammed the guy.

So now he his thrown into this Grid and will probably be pretty confused and unsure of where his alliances lie if no obvious MCP figure pops up. So. yeah. Feel free to beat him up/mess with him/BE HIS FRIEND IN EVIL/whatever.

Nice to see all of you. I'm the one and only NapoldeInLove, art student and Tron fan. I've been participating in the Tronblr Roleplaying group over on Tumblr since June of last year, but I was hearing of some communities. I admit though, g_l has managed to stay under my radar for quite some time. Then Expo made the mistake of mentioning that she was playing one of your Jalen accounts. Ha. I am certain she already regrets it.

Since you guys do not have our dear cocky Bostrumite in this group, I was thinking of introducing him as simply Canon!Gibson. From getting placed in the Games to having his beloved Colony wrecked by a virus and a dictator, Gibson was having the worst milicycle in his entire life. Being turned into a virus was just salty icing on the glass-filled cake. Gibson's last memory is the relief of finally dying--and then he wakes up, in a strange system that is and isn't the one he remembers. Was it all a bad dream? Or is this some sort of cruel trick?

Beyond Gibson, my inner Jarvis still needs to be separated from my inner Tronblr!Jarvis, but it's possible I may end up bringing in him once I get comfortable with things like format. No idea how long that will take.

I got convinced to come over here and throw poor characters at you guys again, so here I am. Ekala, at your service, found under that name at tumblr and just about anywhere else. I'll be around for a while familiarizing myself before I post anything, unless someone wants to drag me into something immediately, which I would actually appreciate. I'm terrible at coming up with stuff for this style of RP but I always like bouncing off of other things!

This Clu 2 is from a bit of a different world than most. In his world... he won. Absolutely. And took over the Real World(tm) in the process. He figured out how to reprogram Users and that was what ultimately led to his success, and he'd been living in complete luxury for quite a long time.

However, now he's been thrown into what seems to be his past, amongst friends who aren't friends and foes who have been dead for cycles upon cycles and, to top it all off, he seems to be lacking the powers he had before. He's confused, he's angry, and really all he wants is to go back home.

I may also be picking up my blackguard OC Symantec at some point, but I wouldn't count on that happening any time soon.

Ahahaha.  Hello, everyone!  I am ExpositionFairy, sometime ficcer, long-time lurker, first-time player.  Please be gentle with me, for I know not what I do, but dear Users please feel free to tell me when I'm doing it wrong.  Which I undoubtedly will.  I am such an RP dinosaur (tabletop and IRC forever, wtf is this newfangly LJ/Tumblr crap and what kind of dice do I need?), and this will be an entirely new experience for me.  Sure does look like fun, though!  Many thanks to namesram for encouraging me to join and for explaining the basics!  <3

Those of  you who know me from Tumblr are probably pretty well aware of my eternal and undying love for the minor and neglected characters of this franchise, and Grid_Lined seems a likely place to further indulge it!  Therefore, if there are no objections, these are the characters I would like to pick up: 

For my first trick, I will be picking up Jalen of Tron: Evolution!  This will be Canon!Jalen (I understand that there is already an AU!Jalen from a universe that does not actually hate the poor guy), coming in from shortly after his success as a Disc Wars gold medalist and subsequent disc "upgrade" courtesy of Clu, but before the alleged "accident" that supposedly killed him.  Enter one very confused ISO who still thinks pretty highly of Clu (someone needs to have a nice long chat with this poor boy about strangers with candy and basic disc safety), with a ticking time bomb strapped to his back and a major case of denial in regards to whether or not there's anything wrong with him.  

I would also like to eventually pick up Hurd (one of the two female Disc Wars conscripts) from Tron: Legacy, once I get her figured out in my head a bit more.  Because apparently I have a thing for underappreciated minor Disc Wars contestants who come to bad ends.

I'm Re and well I'm slowly inching into bringing in an AU Sam here at some point. Uhm well I should probably explain him or something here. Well he was created via a bet with a cousin of mine in which she challenged me to find a way to make Sam follow Clu when I argued with her how he messed up in using Sam when they first met. So uh he's pretty much a recitified/brainwashed Sam who never got past the disk war segment in canon.

As I'm still kinda sorta flailing and floundering in what to do with him and the fact that the two horrible enablers who know who they are have been poking about this I wouldn't mind talking about how to bring him in and to plot and figure out what he can and can't do here. (I am woefully and painfully new to Tron fandom that I'm still learning all the nifty fanon running around, please don't hurt me too much for my lack of knowledge.)
