You are in a vast room, vast enough so that what happens over here won't necessarily disturb what's happening over there, with a couple of semi-screened areas for semi-privacy and all the pillows and blankets and soft (or bouncy) sleeping surfaces you could ever want. Refreshments and entertainments provided by your dear friends at End of Line and Alan's popcorn machine. A movie screen or two. Stuffed animals (what is that one with all the tentacles anyway?). Your choice of sleepwear. Whatever else you'd take with you to a slumber party. And you get to share all of this with everyone else on the Grid.

Clearly this will be the best night EVER.

This meme is safe. Like, really safe. Highest level of physical harm that can happen in this area is shoving someone or getting whacked with a pillow; anyone who attempts harmful physical contact (including unwanted disc meddling, I'M LOOKIN' AT YOU, CLU~) is quantum-teleported out of reach before the harm can happen, ~as many times as it takes~ for the message to sink in, and everyone goes in fully aware of this. Viruses and glitches are contained in a hamster ball quantum sphere which suppresses their infectious capabilities; such spheres can merge with other spheres, and non-viruses can go in and out of them at will (and only perceive a mild static sensation if a virus tries to infect them).

Which makes this a good place to thread with folks your characters don't often get an IC chance to thread with.

"A bit like that, yeah." Sam nodded. "Except there's not much movement involved. There's a handheld controller that...well...controls your guy."

Lizor tilted his head, turning his face towards Sam's voice with a bemused smirk.

"A....controller? To remotely operate your ah...player?" Now that was a bizzare concept. It almost made him laugh. He quietly blamed it on the energy he drank."Well I understood that these games were played on a vidscreen interface....I just did not realize...." he trailed off a little.

"Are all User games this way? Where you sit and use a....a controller?" He was very curious and highly amused.

"Yeah, there you go." Now he was getting it. Sam was quietly relieved he didn't have to try and go through and explain it again. Translating things to something programs could understand was difficult at times.

"Well, some User games. These kind are. They're called video games." He laughed at the program's amusement. "If you hold out your hands, I can give you a controller."

Lizor nodded with a soft 'hn' - pleased that he understood correctly. Though the entire concept was so bizarre!

"Ah...video games." Lizor echoed the term, still somewhat amused, his mouth quirking a bit at the sound of Sam laughing. At the offer to show him a controller, Lizor obliged - holding out his hands palms up in almost the same manner one would receive a weapon.

"What other types of User games are there?" He asked with interest.
