You are in a vast room, vast enough so that what happens over here won't necessarily disturb what's happening over there, with a couple of semi-screened areas for semi-privacy and all the pillows and blankets and soft (or bouncy) sleeping surfaces you could ever want. Refreshments and entertainments provided by your dear friends at End of Line and Alan's popcorn machine. A movie screen or two. Stuffed animals (what is that one with all the tentacles anyway?). Your choice of sleepwear. Whatever else you'd take with you to a slumber party. And you get to share all of this with everyone else on the Grid.

Clearly this will be the best night EVER.

This meme is safe. Like, really safe. Highest level of physical harm that can happen in this area is shoving someone or getting whacked with a pillow; anyone who attempts harmful physical contact (including unwanted disc meddling, I'M LOOKIN' AT YOU, CLU~) is quantum-teleported out of reach before the harm can happen, ~as many times as it takes~ for the message to sink in, and everyone goes in fully aware of this. Viruses and glitches are contained in a hamster ball quantum sphere which suppresses their infectious capabilities; such spheres can merge with other spheres, and non-viruses can go in and out of them at will (and only perceive a mild static sensation if a virus tries to infect them).

Which makes this a good place to thread with folks your characters don't often get an IC chance to thread with.

Have a rumbly noise, Sam. It might be unpleasantly familiar. Yeah, there's a Rinzler. Currently standing just behind you. The mask's angled in a straight line at... your face. Or possibly the game console.

Or Rinzler could just be sleeping. Hard to tell.

Oh crap that rumbly noise is very familiar and Sam will just be pausing the game and trying not to totally freak out at the fact there is a Rinzler right behind him. He's still got a nice ropy scar from his last encounter with a Rinzler, though he can't tell them apart to save his life. Could have been this one.

Either way, he's kind of on his feet and glaring. He was in the middle of a game, how dare you interrupt.

Yeah, that stabbing you thing was fun. Good times, Sam. Good times. Rinzler's most recent combat was at least as fierce, evidenced clearly by the plush toy still lingering atop his helmet.

But hey. Did you say Game? No. No you didn't. But either Rinzler's finally tapping into his psychic potential, or he's somehow getting the idea anyway. Have a very slow, deliberate tip of the (octopus-covered) helmet. From you. To the console.
