February Plot-With Me Post

Now that we know who’s around, what the event is, and what the game looks like for now, everybody get in here and plot!

Grid_lined plot-with-me posts will happen monthly from now on, and will replace the monthly plotplurk memes that folks have been using (since it’s difficult to find them again or keep track of so many different plurks). You can plot specifically for the storm event in that post or here, but this post is for February plots in general.

I think I shall write Tron's bout of hermit off as a bad combination of depression (at first) and paranoia (because nononocat) and be done. The storm will be an actual open outing beyond his usual territory to go rescue people because sense of duty. He will probably not be too happy about that due to swimming and cold and having to fly a recognizer. Nobody likes having to fly a recognizer. It will be the grumpiest rescue effort ever. After the event, he should actually start operating as a normal street-level patroller with specializations in find-and-flag threat discovery and intel/counter-intel. You know, finding the crap the other security programs miss and shutting it down.

I would be interested in Tron starting up (small) self-defense classes for any of the other PCs again-- consider this me gauging interest level so we can plot next month. Also, given the wild skillsets and Tron's new status as an independent operator, anyone who wants to team up and form an irregular unit is someone I would like to bother. PC only because I am done with trying to puppet NPC teams.

Siren!Tron has been seeing to clients and so forth and quietly plotting a surprise party for Eckert. He will likely be at the End of Line tower during the storm for anybody who is lonely and/or afraid of storms and/or stuck and/or has an appointment. Post-storm plotting will probably have to wait until after the storm because reasons.

One or more of my folks may well need a rescue during the event. >3 Hmm, which one, though..... If Ram's not the one needing rescue, he can fly point in his lightjet (until the weather forces a stop to that) and do wide scans for trapped programs. Meanwhile, he is also delighted at that first bit of news. Don't think the hugs are going to stop, Tron.~ Might even get more of them onscreen.....

Should he show up at the End of Line, Eckert would sit him down for a drink and be a listening ear if he wanted. And may take him up on the self-defense classes, actually. Eckert has some self-defense capability, but is not a trained fighter. Are private lessons an option?

Going to put up a character-day-job post in a day or two so people can start planning stuff like characters having routine patrols together, as well as stuff like "taking clients"/"is one of those clients".

Allon, meanwhile, is hoping for more dance time with Siren, and, along with Ram, would like to meet Trace some time if she stays around. Eckert has noticed something is up with Siren and is impressed that he hasn't managed to figure out what it is yet.~~~ And Ram would like a chance to drop in and say hi.

Hey that would be a great way for them to meet and 0rca will probably comment on them being... no in top shape and maybe I can work into that convo how not good at fighting he is and TRON can perhaps offer to teach him a thing and who in their right mind would turn down that offer? ^^

Late, but Cantus would love to get in on those self defense classes, if Tron tells him when and where. :3 He was worried he wouldn't get the chance, after Tron rage-quit Security. X3
