Hey Grid_Liners! Li-mun here!

A year ago, on February 20th, 2011 - Lizor's journal was created on LJ, and the character that had been a shadow in my head for a couple of months, was born into being. Within 24 hours - his first post appeared on Grid_lined...and the rest is history. From the moment I saw his striking visage in the trailer - to seeing his too brief scene in Tron: Legacy, he has both captivated my heart and my mind and that has never changed over the past year. If anything, it strengthened into a deep bond. Though we do disagree and bicker at times, we really do understand each other and share certain traits. He also shares my pain...and I share his.

I never would have imagined from his first post (as a brand new never before RPed on LJ, player) - that he would have grown so much and developed the great character relationships that he has. He has really developed into such a beautiful person that I immensely enjoy channeling and giving him voice. It's not all me though! The players that I have befriended and developed CR with have also contributed to this character in all aspects of his life and spirit, enabling him to grow and love and experience. He never would have done so otherwise.

Thank you for taking what most would consider a 'fanon oc character' and accepting him for what he is - a canon character that existed in the Tron universe, adding to its richness and depth and story. Lizor was not born exclusively in my mind. He was all ready there in canon, given birth by someone else during the development of the film and seen on screen. I just took this under-appreciated and un-loved character....and adopted him into my heart. Allowing him to have the story he so rightfully deserves. Other games may shun him as a supposed 'fanon' oc - but I am very thankful and appreciative, that this game does otherwise. So thank you for accepting Lizor...and being both his, and my friends. Also thank you to the characters that has befriended him - and whom he has grown to love and trust.

Happy Birthday Li - thank you for being my friend, my comfort, my confidant. Thank you for giving me joy in the midst of sadness and for showing me that love in a close relationship is possible, helping me see what it is like through you. In another far off lifetime, if we ever share existence together in a physical reality, we could be so much more. I love you, my heart.

Help me make this day special - and lift the weary blues that plague a lot of us in the cold of winter. I have also made an appreciation post on Plurk, but did so here too for those that don't have plurk so that everyone is included! :D

Let's make both plurk and this post explode with Lizor love! It can be absolutely -anything-! You don't have to be epically skilled at any particular craft. You can do whatever you wish and you can contribute more than once and however much you feel like! Everyone is welcome! It's the intent/thought that counts.

If anyone wants to do ficcage or anything where you need to 'borrow' the character to actively portray him - go right ahead! Even if you feel that you probably would have him OOC or that you couldn't do him justice - it doesn't matter ONE bit! There is no judges here. No contest. No favoritism. No pressure that you gotta be the best. No one will make fun of you, stick people, or silly limericks to name some examples (or face Li's disc wrath!). You can be as serious or silly as you want. It's WIDE open with no limits. No one is trying to compare abilities or whatever - especially NOT me or Lizor. Anything that is made with a good intention is beautiful and loved and very appreciated. <3

I plan on gathering together all my Li related stuffs such as screens, ficcage, drawings or whatever - and putting them up in my journal and linking the appropriate entries in the comments here.

PS: if your RL is busy that's understandable. Mine is pretty full too with my job XD - don't be afraid to post things after Feb. 20th...there's no time limit. the 20th is just his actual birthday!
