April Plot-With-Me Post

Last month was a quiet month on the Free Grid, aside from a brief and (so far) unexplained glitch in transportation. Inhabitants were recovering from the storm, exploring changes to the Grid's architecture, and missing those whom the storm removed from the Grid. (As it was a difficult month for a lot of us, much of this ended up happening offscreen.)

This month starts out just as quiet, though the Thing That Will Happen in a couple of days is likely to turn heads. Feel free plot non-event-related activities and/or to wait for Thursday's event post to decide what your characters might do.

Don't forget to use the Jobfair/Tasksets and Locations posts for ideas on what your character can do for others and they for you.

Reysa will probably intro during the event, but besides that she could use some friends in a new place.

My folks will be very happy to meet her! :) Maybe one of them can meet her at the Sailer dock? And Ram will be glad to talk about ENCOM. He's not really had anybody to go over some of those memories with (without getting into post-ENCOM heartbreaky stuff, that is).

Well, Spark's mapping expedition was delayed by the previous event, so she still has to do that. *nudges Ram* Does Ko still want to come with? I'm waiting on that.

Otherwise, I'd love to drop Spark in this Chamber of Bits event. She's never had a Bit of her own, maybe this might be a good way for her to adopt one(or for one to adopt her, as the case may be)? Also, since a big part of her life so far has been that she has found no one else from her Grid, I thought that maybe she would recognize the disk of a friend and that would affect her somehow. What's going to happen to all of those disks, anyway?

Sure! I'm about to put up the IC event-intro post; I think I'll do that with Ko. She usually doesn't mind Bits but with THIS MANY OF THEM she might be happy to get out of the city for a while. XD

Good question about the discs. Ultimately, they'll be taken for storage to the Archives, pending someone having time to go through all their data. Before that, whoever finds them first could easily take a look at the contents of some of them.

In my Ram's backstory, he was able to sense a kinship with an old disc he found that turned out to have his previous self's memories on it. Up to each player if they want their character(s) to be drawn to a particular disc because of what it contains.

Okay, cool. "Ahhh, they're chasing me!" Just kidding. So I've got two plot-thread ideas for Spark. I'll wait until the event post goes up.
