Utilities: Records/Comms - Central Communications Tower

Name: Britt
Department: Records/Communications, Central Communications Tower
Job Title: Commander, head of central communications.
Britt's Personal Schedule: Out of a 3-millicycle day, Britt currently spends from 1 to 1.5 millicycles on-duty at the tower during the busiest time of the day, with an on-call status during downtime in event of emergency. His usual downtime consists of an average of 1 millicycle's rest, with remaining time spent with Kato and/or dealing with personal matters.

Work environment: The Central Comms crew has been understaffed since Team Orange's last attack and as such is often overworked. Their success seems based on their well-established internal community, made up of programs who have been together since the beginning of the Grid. They function as a close-knit family, but with so many naturally social and outgoing programs, outsiders are welcomed easily.

What my character can do for you:Britt has recently taken (un)official command of the staff at Tron City's central communications tower, ever since the last Team Orange attack. They are responsible for keeping the lines of communication and information flow open throughout the grid. Delivering system alerts, daily news reports from security and administration, and maintaining the network of public comm stations are just some of their duties. They are also capable of dispatching repair engineers and messengers to reports of broken terminals and areas that are not able to receive normal communications, or with information that is too sensitive to broadcast.

Are they hiring over there?: Of course! Most of the team thusfar are NPCs, though some have names - these are listed on Britt's account. Anyone with experience or function in communications, data-mining, multitasking and packet handling is welcome to apply - even hackers are welcome, due to the similarity in their function sets of gathering data! But keep in mind, all parties will likely be subjected to vigorous background reviews. The kind of data they handle is sensitive, and anyone with sticky fingers and a loose mouth will be handed over to security.

Any other cool details?
The comms tower hub operates and resembles a mix of a busy newsroom floor, an equally busy tv broadcast stage, and the bridge of the new Enterprise.
