Evil!Alan plotting post for mirrorverse event

Okay! There has been discussion of the things that mirror!Alan might get involved in, and the final boss battle, as it were. I figured it might be easier to get it all gathered into one place.

Also, Alan on the Grid is basically the living incarnation of Godmode, given the tricks he has up his sleeve, so if you want to interact with Alan, please tell me how far I can take things. I'll try not to do anything too absolute, and I won't go past what you're comfortable with in-game, but with Alan, sinking people into the floor or causing pain via the very ground they stand on is just the beginning of his bag of tricks.

This is also a good place to discuss getting around those tricks, since he does need to be defeated at some point.

o/ Signing Mirror!Rinzler up for both trauma and final boss fight. He hasn't seen his user in over a thousand cycles, and he really, really wished it would've stay that way.

Only restriction is I'd like him to get away without severe codescrew. Which, given how easily and effectively Alan can tamper with him... probably means someone else interfering. Possibly two encounters--one earlier, with all the trauma, and the second being bossfight? If nothing else, whoever interferes might be more inclined to believe Mirror!Rinzler and Clu about their world's differences. |D;

Works for me! I can, if necessary, come up with some reason for Alan not screwing with his code straight off - maybe he thinks Clu's put booby traps in his code, or maybe he just wants to watch to see what he's dealing with first.

/nods. It's completely okay with me if he tries—and Rinzler's likely to be pretty glitched after their encounter even without it. I do headcanon Rinzler and Clu worked to put some pretty solid locks up against unwanted disk access. It wouldn't keep Alan out longterm, but it might slow him down long enough for someone else to step in and give Rinzler a chance to bolt.

A user might work best just in terms of not being someone else Alan would just flatten in under a micro, but any number of people could work. I'll probably put up a plurk about it once I finish the in-progress mirror!writeup.

If it's a Sam, Alan will probably try verbal manipulation first. But yes, a User would probably be best. Or another Tron - that might confuse him enough to let Rinzler get away.

Either would work for me? Livian might give Rinzler some extra wtf about user, but Tron could also be fun, 'specially since evil!Alan's really the one detail he didn't get in much depth. If it was Tron, "get mirror clear" would also be on Rinzler's to do list. 8|b

My only goal is that Rinzler be able to exit before codescrew, and given (if I remember) you were thinking of involving both in the final boss battle, seems like it could be a good way of introducing either one to the threat.
