Hello again, folks. Copper is here YET AGAIN to call a forced hiatus. You see, I have a little problem...

My computer exploded. B|

The power supply went out with a literal bang, complete with smoke. Rinzler would be proud. I do not yet know if it also took out the hard drive and/or motherboard, so I don't yet know when it will be fixed and when I can return. Hopefully I won't be out too long - a friend of mine has said that they can give me a new power supply once they locate their spares, so I will be able to check everything out once that has been done. Should the worse case scenario happen and it turns out that the motherboard is shot a family member has offered to give me a computer they aren't using. It just might take a week or two for these things to happen.

*le sigh* See you guys when I can. ;-; I must now go beg the computer gods to have mercy on my personal Grid system and spare the most expensive to fix parts.

Woah, blowing up computers? That's never good, man :( I once had an old school computer blow up on me and it was no joke. Hope you get your kit sorted, dude. *hug*

Thanks. I am hoping that it gets fixed soon. I am going a bit crazy at home with nothing to do but watch TV and play video games since all of my books have gotten buried somewhere.

Mine did that once upon a time. I had no idea what had happened except that there was a crackle and a 'whumph' and everything went dead. I left a post-it note on it for my pops and he called me at work the next day: "Bad news is that whatever you were working on when the power supply blew is probably gone. Good news is that power supplies are cheap!"
And then he picked me up after work so I could get a new one.

I hope so, too. Every few hours or so I will think of something that I want to do and then realize that I can't do it because it requires a computer.

Thanks. I hope so, too. Otherwise I might go curl up in a closet and hide there for the rest of the year until the bad luck that has been following me all summer goes away. ;-;
