Hello, everyone. :) After becoming mildly obsessed with  enjoying reading over the fun RP threads you all have done, I've decided to finally buckle down and actually make an LJ account so that I could participate. I figure the original Clu will be a fun character to play, especially since his Bit is already around. Might eventually bring in another character or two (if nobody minds, of course), but let's see how I do with Clu first.

Anyway, looking forward to RPing with all of you! :)

(PS: To avoid any Internet Gender Confusion, while my character is male, I'm actually female. Just so nobody gets weirded out if I sound girly and stuff. XD)

And don't worry about gender confusion, a lot of people who play male characters are actually female IRL, and vice versa.

Tell me, do you have any head canon with what it is a bit does that is helpful toward its program?

Hmm... well, I have a planned fic character who'll train hers to do scouting, since who looks twice at a (seemingly) stray bit? X3 So maybe Clu's bit did that too, checking into places Clu and his tank couldn't fit, then coming back and reporting what it found. My character would have her bit settle into the hole in the center of her disc, and transfer the data on anything interesting/important it saw and heard to her that way. That wouldn't work with Clu, obviously, so maybe there was some kind of gizmo in his tank that Bit could use for such a purpose. *shrugs* :3

Other than that, um... maybe bits have certain kinds of specialized sensors that programs don't have, kind of like cats or dogs having superior senses to humans. *generally rates bits as being about as intelligent as dogs, aside from their ability to undestand human/program speech of course*

That character duo sounds adorable. Also pretty on track of what I'm thinking about bits. At least intelligence wise. My bit is pretty much as smart as your average pokemon hahaha.

Just felt I should say that I have the most adorable picture of what Clu's face looks like in our part of my RP thread ATM in my head. Just this look of pure, wide-eyed, innocent wonder, like a little kid meeting Superman or something. ^_^ It's just so awesome; I wish I had the art skills to draw it. <3 My Clu luffs his 'daddy' apparently. ^_^

C.L.U 1.0 didn't get enough screen time in my opinion. He was so awesome too :( With his tank and Bit. Flynn even gave him an energy drink to keep him going XD

Oh, yay! 8D It looks like we might honestly have an almost entire cast, now! My poor Tron is going to have a bit of a startle when he finally meets your Clu. >_> Talk about WHARGARBLEWHAT??? XD

And I think a strange majority of the Tronnies on LJ and in general are female, from what I've seen. I am at least physically of the female persuasion, but I only ever play males. :P IRL as well, but that's a completely different subject. >_>

Yeah, little Clu (dunno why I keep thinking of him that way, but I do X3) has been put into a very weird and fairly sucky position by his 'younger brother's actions. X3 It's like being Saddam Housien's (I probly spelled that wrong) long-lost twin or something. X3

As for him meeting Tron, he'll have one of three reactions, most likely. If he hasn't found out anything about what Clu2 did (unlikely, by the time they'd meet, admittedly) he'll be all like, "Hey, sweet! Tron! Nice to meet you!:D" If he knows about all the crap Clu2 did, but not about Tron/Rinzler's sitch he'll probly appologize for Clu giving Tron so much trouble (as he'll assume Tron was on the good-guys' side, like before). And if he knows about Tron/Rinzler... lots of appologizing/worrying about what Tron's gonna do to him. X3

And yeah, I know. TBH, one reason I decided to start playing as Clu was SPECIFICALLY so I could make that pun. XD
