An update
Surgery went much better and more quickly than expected, and less than 30 hours after surgery, she was already back on solid food.
There was a minor setback overnight/early this morning, in that she was having seizures brought on by noise and light, this was because the anti-seizure medication she takes daily hasn't been administered to her since she was admitted to the hospital on Tuesday. But they've got her back on it now, and another one to make up for the lost time.
Other than that, prognosis and outlook are both good.
Hello everyone, Sterling here, just posting to let you all know that tomorrow morning (8:45am, PST, Wednesday Nov 2nd) my mum is going in for brain surgery, her third invasive and fourth total brain surgery.
She hates them, as would anyone. But she's optimistic, as is her surgeon, and pretty much everyone else around her. Mostly I'm just posting this here because if anyone has good vibes to send her way, I'm sure she'd appreciate it, and also to let you all know that I might be tense/spazzy/not-here for the next while, depending on how things go.
I'll do my best to keep you all updated, if anyone wants to talk to me directly I'm usually on AIM: JediGorse, and I'm pretty much always available by emails: HexenmeisterNarrin{at}Gmail{dot}com.

As somebody who has a relative who is alive and well 25 years after his own set of brain surgery, I hope her outcome is as good. <3

She's had one every 5-10 years. Last time she did the math and realized that I've had a mom with a brain tumor for most of my life.
She's been fine through all of them before, I'm sure she'll be fine this time.

Everything went well, better than expected, in fact, now we're just hoping for a speedy recovery.

But yes, marvelous news, we're all thrilled, and her most of all, I think.

I hope everything goes as smoothly, and non-stressful as possible. ♥
