I'm Rosie, and I was wondering if all of you would be alright with me joining with an AU version of Lee Stetson. I've got some of his backstory up on his journal already.

I've never Live-journal RPed before, so I'm not sure about the general rules of applying to an RP community.

He's still going to be completely confounded by the thought of one of "them" acting like Flynn, but it's just going to make all of that ten times more adorkable when everyone does start crossing paths. bahaha!

I'm working on putting up the rest of Lee's backstory, at least up to the point where Flynn vanishes.

In the Game, Lee's going to be coming from sometime between mid-'92 to early '94. Real world history means he can't make it into the Grid before then, given that the Berlin Wall falls in November of '89 and the Soviet Union collapses in December of '91.

See, that makes sense. :D It's always better when you can make it fit into real-world things. I have this strange thing where I love it when fantasy or science fiction can be squeezed to fit into reality.

Hence why I love things like tablets and ipads. We finally have "datapads" from the Star Wars Universe! 8D

Hi!

I would recommend contacting the moderators of the comm (you can find them at the community profile age, and then when you go to their profile pages, you can send 'Private Message') before planning and plotting anything in specific!

If they decide on nay, you can always go to one of the non-fandom specific comms, such as sixwordstories or just_postit and such!

*grins* Oh, the only planning I'm doing with Lee at the moment is fleshing out his backstory with things that probably won't actually get mentioned in game.

Given how big of a shake-up the fall of the Soviet Union was, I'm actually leaning towards Lee being from mid '93 to '94.

Modly point here, we don't actually have the Matrix twins. We asked them to change to Tron OCs based on the Twins but not the Twins themselves, since this is not a pan-fandom game. Fine line, but eh, y'know.

AU Lee is under mod consideration at the moment.

Ooooh, ok, gotcha. My bad. :> I wasn't really sure how the entire thing worked, I just knew I recognized them and thought maybe they were just adapted to fit by the Mun. That makes sense, though. :)

Yeah, that all makes sense. To make it fit the best, you'd have to take into consideration if it was before the fall of the Soviet Union, he'd still be all "ARRRGH, COMMUNISTS!"

Which could be kind of hilarious. >_> But I can imagine why it might not be the direction you wanted to take the character. XD

Here's wishing you Good Luck that you and the mods (Or Mod? Is it only BD for mod here? I can't quite remember. *derp ono*) can find a happy medium to fit Lee into the group. :>

The Soviet Union fell in December of 1991.

It's less about how I want to play the character as it's about things making sense. Lee would need a fairly calm period of time to go investigate Flynn's disappearance. Looking for Flynn isn't a mission, it's personal and would have to come after his job and duty.
