Sorry, all
You may have noticed I've been a bit slow tagging recently. My free time is currently being eaten by rehearsals for the show I'm in, which will be running next week. It's unlikely I'll have much time to tag during that time, though I'll do my best to catch up whenever I get a spare moment.
With any luck, I'll be back to normal after that. Thanks for being patient with me!

I always loved doing plays. Man, that stuff is fun. :P Now I'm remembering the short play me and my drama class did in high school for the elementary schools. Somehow "The Princess and the Pea" became "Villainous redneck family and their dog kidnaps the Sheriff's girlfriend and have to be stopped by the sheriff and his trusty horse." o_O I was the dog. It was so much fun! I got to run through the audience on all fours and find my sister sitting in the stands and lick her face, just to make her "D8<" *FLAIL!* >B> And then when we did the play for the kindergarteners, I had a little girl run up to me on the playground afterward, with me in my poorly-done dog outfit, and just stare up at me like *U* before wrapping her little baby arms around my tummy and clinging to me!
I just about melted, I swear to God! It still makes me squee, ten years later! It wasn't even that great of a dog costume! I had pigtails to be dog ears, black mittens on my hands for paws, a belt from my coat for the tail, and a black spot make-upped over my eye, but apparently the little kiddos didn't care at all. XD

Awww, I know what you mean about little kids coming up to you and hugging you. I was Buttons in the Cinderella pantomime one year, and I got this ten-year-old and her mother come up to me and ask for a photo. It was so sweet.

Booohohoh, yesss, it just makes you feel all happy when you get reactions like that. Being able to leave that much of an impression on someone just makes you feel really happy about what you did. *u*
